“Fact-checking” has been much in the news lately, and we have our own skills with that and with verifying dubious web-distributed “information”. But without practice, it’s hard to take a critical view when a statement or conclusion is accompanied by lots of numbers and eye-catching infographics. Join Matt Gertler and Maggie Weaver who will illustrate some simple ways to avoid being snowed by statistics.
