Join the OLA Special Libraries Committee for a free, behind-the-scenes tour of:
The Changing Face of Toronto, an exhibition of the Toronto Public Library’s Toronto Star Photograph Archive

 

Exhibition curator Carol Elder will speak briefly about the history of both the Toronto Star Photo Archive (TSPA) and about photography at the Star in the 20th century. Alan Walker, the curator of photography at TPL, will speak about the collection, its organization, and how to access the TSPA photos in the Special Collections Department.  Carol will then take everyone on a tour of The Changing Face of Toronto exhibition. She will speak about the exhibition’s concept and provide insight into some of the “faces” you will see during the tour.
