Library Tour – Rotman Business Information Centre @ University of Toronto on March 25, 2014

The OLA Special Libraries Committee invites you to join us for a tour of the new Rotman Business Information Centre (BIC) at the University of Toronto. The new Business Information Centre, opened in May 2012, is home to the business and management research specialists within U of T’s 44 libraries. Embedded in the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, their mission is to support the research, curriculum development and educational activities of the School and support faculty and staff of the Rotman School of Management and the Rotman Commerce program.

Following the tour Sean Forbes, Director of the BIC, and Holly Inglis, Public Services Librarian, will discuss:

  • how the library fits in the U of T Library System and the Rotman School;
  • insights and lessons learned during downsizing and moving to a new space;
  • the services provided by the BIC

Date: Tuesday, March 25th, 2014
Time: 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Location: Rotman Business Information Centre – 105 St. George Street, 5th Floor, room 5005 (meet on the main floor of the Rotman South building at the fireplace)
Cost: Free (but registration is required and is limited to 20 people)
